3. 3. MAKING MANUAL ALBUM ? 1. Double Click on the application icon on the desktop. 2. Select the album page size i.e. 12 x 36. And No. of Sheets. 3. Click on the Forward Arrow to select the Album type. 4. Double click on the Manual Album. 5. Click on the Photo tab. 6. Click on the browser window … to open Source option window. 7. Select the folder from the source. 8. Press the Left mouse button on the Photo for selection, drag the photos to the album page and release the mouse button ( Method: drag and drop method). Double click on the photo to insert it on the album page.(Method : D C method). 8a. Press the Control button and click on the photos one by one with left mouse button for selection and click on Add Photo(s) button. All the selected photos will be added in a single movement. 9. Click on the Change Layout Button and then on the Change layout button one by one until Album page design and photos arrangement are as per Your satisfaction. 10. 4. 3. MAKING MANUAL ALBUM ? 11. Delete : Select the object for deletion and Click on the Delete button. 12. Intra-Change : Press Ctl and Click on the any two photos for mutual change. Click on the Icon on a photo. The two photos are changed mutually. 13. Insert : Select the photo from source and drag and drop over the photo in the current album sheet for replacement. 14. Template : Click on the Template Tab and Select the template with number of photos. 14a. Click on the template to insert it. 15. Click on photo tab and Click on photos according to number and orientation of photos. Such photos are inserted in the album sheet. 16. A) Resize, B) Rotation, C) Framing D) Lock/Unlock 14 14a 15 Click on any Marked one 12 A B C D Select any anchor point and drag to adjust the size Select this rotation symbol and drag to rotate the photo. Select this flower mark and rotate the scroll wheel to adjust the image size in the frame Click on the lock symbol to unlock and lock again. Nothing can be done in lock position.

Select the shape, out line, width, its color and opacity and in the same way for filling solid color, gradient, pattern and opacity options are available. 8. PSD TO ALBUM XPRESS TEMPLATE? 1. Go to Dgflick website > Support > Utilities > PSD to AX Template Converter > Software download 2. Double Click on DgflickAXtemplateConverter-2 > Yes > Select Photoshop Application Installed folder > Next > Finish. 3. Now, Open Photoshop Application > File > Scripts > Dgflick AX template Converter & Dgflick AX template Converter~ Preferences appear as two submenus. 4. Open a psd file in photoshop. 5. Repeat step no 3 to select the Dgflick AX template Converter Preferences. A pop-up box will appear. In the box select the folder name (In this folder All objects are saved in respective folders as backgrounds, clipart, masks etc. > Theme (under theme option in AX – this will be saved) > volume ( objects are classified as per volume no - for the purpose of AX application.) 6. After finishing step No. 5 > close the psd file(Cntl+W). 7. Now, File > open > select PSD template > Closely study various objects in layers to know which is background, which is clipart > which is photo with mask etc. 8. File > Scripts>Dgflick AX template Converter > Script prompt Box will appear > in the entry field enter the number as per the layer type. Options : 0- to discard; 1 – To save it as Photo; 11 – To save it as Photo (With Mask) ; 2 – To save it as Clipart; 3 – To save it as Frame ; 4 – To save it as Background. After completion of conversion, Select the Album Xpress Icon on the desktop > Click the mouse-Right- button > Open file location > click on the >Products > DgAlbum > Themes 9. Also open the location of the converted folder i.e 001 > copy all the folders in it > and past them in themes folder above in AX > in the popup window Check the box > Yes. 10.
