17 Each Section and Division shall sponsor a minimum of one (1) educational program per Fiscal Year. Section and Division programming should be shared with National staff at least 30 days prior to the event. If CLE credit is needed, Section and Division leaders must discuss the program with National staff at least 60 days in advance. National staff will provide the CLE committee members with deadlines for the documents needed to file CLE applications. Continuing Legal Education

20 Financial Reports are emailed to the officers of each Section and Division on the 25 th of each month, for the month prior. Any expenses over $500 that are not included in the original Achievement Plan must be approved by the Board of that Section and Division and captured in meeting minutes. A copy of those minutes should be provided to National staff in order for payment to be processed. Contributions or sponsorships pledged to a non-FBA organization that, in sum, are equal to $10,000 or greater per fiscal year shall be subject to the approval of the Board of Directors. Funds should be used to advance the mission of the FBA and provide value to Section and Division members. Section/Division Financial Management

21 Quarterly Chapter Rebates 20% of all dues is given back to chapters on a quarterly basis (excluding foreign associates and law student associates) Ensure current Treasurer information is on file Consider direct deposit

22 Awards Program The FBA Awards program is an excellent way to recognize and honor the hard work and success of your Chapter, Section, Division, and those individuals who have made notable contributions to their practice.
