Leonardo da Vinci Partnership Project Project reference: 2013-1-HU1-LEO04-10201 PEST – Partnership for Exchange of experience in Student on-the-job Training  According to the Estonian higher education standards of the 3+2 curricular system (3 year bachelor 180 ECTS + 2 year master 120 ECTS), practical training takes place mostly on the bachelor level.  Practical training is the compulsory part of the study process on the bachelor level.  The content of the practical training depends on the chosen specialization.  At the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration the business administration students have practical training at the bachelor as well at the master level. Leonardo da Vinci Partnership Project Project reference: 2013-1-HU1-LEO04-10201 PEST – Partnership for Exchange of experience in Student on-the-job Training  Organization and recording of internships is the responsibility of departments of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration.  Internship is coordinated by the departments´ teachers who are appointed by the Dean of faculty.  The internship coordinator is an advisor recommending work places, if necessary, and shall explain and specify requirements for a work place and the field of activity.  Generally, students will find their own internship places.  In addition to the departments, the office of academic affairs of TTU assists students seeking such a place. Leonardo da Vinci Partnership Project Project reference: 2013-1-HU1-LEO04-10201 PEST – Partnership for Exchange of experience in Student on-the-job Training  For assessment of an internship, a student shall submit to the internship coordinator an application in the appropriate form, officially signed relevant documents from the work places certifying work, as well as a report on the internship  The internship report shall be defended in the front of the commission.  The assessment scheme is “pass” or “fail”. “Pass” – the report is an adequate description of the positive and negative aspects of the tasks fulfilled during the practicum and of the institution where practical training took place as well as supervision and includes analysis and suggestions about the tasks fulfilled during the practicum. “Fail” – significant shortcomings occur in the description and analysis of the tasks fulfilled, the institution and supervision of the practical training.
