4 Summary of Questions/Comments We need a regional Dial-a-Ride system Is light rail going to increase pollution and congestion in the Valley? Will the new South Mountain Freeway go through the reservation? We need the 303 completed. We need the bus system improved. Will light rail follow the freeways? We need to coordinate our (Maricopa County’s) transportation system with whatever Pinal County is doing. I’m from Chicago and they have a great train system there. I can’t wait until we get one here. Will I be able to transfer from the bus to the light rail with the same ticket? Is there going to be an overpass at 59 th Ave. and Glendale? Light rail will be too slow to be effective. I don’t agree with how Grand Avenue was reconstructed. I’m happy to see bus service is going to triple.
