1 The Field Studies Council is a charity dedicated to environmental education through first hand experience. We have 19 residential centres and 4 day centres across the UK

2 KindroganMillport Field Studies Council was established in 1943 and is a leader in UK environmental education

3 Kindrogan House, Strathardle Strathardle is said to have been named after a Pictish Leader called Ardle. Look out for the Giants Grave as you turn down the track to Kindrogan. Can you spot any historical buildings on your journey?

Night trail Star gazing and tales of the history of the area Biodiversity and interdependence Searching for invertebrates in the river and learning about food chains and energy flow Small mammal trapping Humane traps allow us to have a closer look at the adaptations of mice and voles in the morning ! Meeting the requirements of Curriculum for Excellence Orienteering Navigate around the centre, learning about the location Hidden History Walk the Cateran trail to learn about Strathardle’s history. Learn bushcraft skills and test your survival skills Past environments On Kindrogan Hill we will discover what the area was like 18,000 years ago and think about how it might change in the future
