The Golden Ticket: P-NP and the search for impossible By: Lance Fortnow
2
Non Technical introduction to P-NP, Its history and algorithmic implication. Author traces back the origin of problem to Cold war year i.e. 1945. The author discusses what the world would be like of P=NP. In this world, almost all of the technology we could ever imagine is possible, and computers can do incredible things for good and evil. Like cryptography. Overview

Lance Fortnow makes what could be a fairly difficult and technical Maths/Computing issue light and accessible. Many examples from diverse areas are given for understanding about the world of P and NP problems. Real world examples including cryptography, finding large groups of friend on facebook and algorithms. What I Liked
4
There is a big discussion on Quantum computing towards the end. Intersting examples like the author has used a hypothetical world called “frenemy” to explain various NP problems. P-NP problem is among the seven millenium problem. New Aspects
5
He doesn’t actually tell you what P and NP means for a long time, untill page 87, just gives rather sideways definitions. Golden Ticket" is written for the reader who has no knowledge of computational complexity, computer science, or mathematics. Very strong Assumptions of the world where P=NP. Loop Holes

Do Read The Book It will help you in TOC ;)
