4 In Northern Bruce Peninsula, these core services are extensive and include.... Healthy Babies, Healthy Children Home Visits Speech & Language Home Visits Sexual Health Clinic Services Breastfeeding Support Services Dental Services Communicable Disease Management and Vaccine Distribution Health Promotion (e.g. nutrition, injury prevention)

Inspection of food premises, camps/resorts, child care facilities, swimming pools, long term care facilities, arenas Oversight of Small Public Drinking Water Systems Private Drinking Water Testing Services Health Hazard Investigation Animal Bite Investigation in Relation to Rabies Control

6 Shifting the Focus maintaining core public health services using the new Provincial Public Health Strategic Plan working local communities to develop and realize their own vision of optimal health

7 The Healthy Community Team Model four multidisciplinary teams working in specific geographic areas of Grey Bruce familiarity with local communities (needs, interests, resources, partners) potential to better direct core service delivery potential to better assist communities to address broader health challenges and take advantage of opportunities
