2 HOW TO DIFFERENTIATE WHAT IS NEEDED TO ACHIEVE 5 POINTS: C. Mathematical processes By: Nisleidys Gonzalez

3 Sketches Sketches will not be considered a correct mathematical processes Must use rulers If there is no 2 simple math processes, the 2 further math processes will be considered simple

4 POINTS 0 points: No mathematical processes or people who copied from book with effort to have their own data 1 point: Carried out at least 2 simple math processes but are just average. Includes- Percentages, graphs, trigonometry, bar charts, pie charts, mean,etc. Calculations just with technology = NO 2 points: Minimum of 2 simple math processes carried out correctly 3 points: Must have 2 simple math processes but HAVE TO BE RELEVANT! 4 points: Simple math processes must be correct. Have to have 1 further processes carried ou1`t( Errors are allowed) 5 points: Everything ( simple and further processes) have to be error- free! If there is any information or data within limited scope, points will not be given.

9 Sophisticated Mathematical Processes ✔ IA must include one “sophisticated” math process Can include correlation line and line of best fit, or Chi-Squared Test Process must be shown in the assignment by hand

10 Simple Mathematical Processes ✔ Must include two “simple” mathematical processes Can include finding the mean and standard deviation, as well as charts and graphs Processes are necessary, but do not guarantee a top score in this category

11 Other Important Points ✔ All Mathematical processes must be shown by hand? Processes used should be relevant for the type of data collected Double check your work!
