4 The farm has 200 acres of arable land.

5 The River Moss flows through the valley.

6 The farm has a wind turbine which produces some of the farm’s electricity

7 The farm is staffed by family and two employees, Hannah and Richard

8 The farm has 2000 pigs on site, with 200 breeding females.

9 The farm produces about 250 tonnes of pig meat in a year for pork, bacon, ham and sausages

10 The farm has 400 year old buildings… And modern buildings to house the pigs, which are all indoors.

30 Mother’s milk is SO good!!!! We grow really quickly!

45 A materials handler is an important piece of machinery on the farm

46 Most of the pig feed is bought from “BOCM Pauls”. We make some ourselves using our own wheat grown on the farm. The feed lorry
