4 Highlights Participants 3 high schools in western Iowa 1 high school in eastern Iowa + 1 high school in southeastern Iowa 5 total high schools Plan 2 CEU credit course following the Iowa Professional Development Model 5 ICN sessions 3 on-site workshops/meetings for planning Learning Teams meeting at least once per month

How many and what percent of teachers in each building are involved in the initiative? What percent of the student population is participating in classrooms that use formative assessment? What is the level of implementation each month by teacher and building? What is the balance between formative and summative assessment by building? How has student perception of the class changed? How has teacher assessment practices changed? How has formative assessment impacted student achievement?
