2. Good Health Good Test Scores It takes more than good study skills to be successful on the EOG (End of Grade) test. Physical activity is important as well! So let’s look at the following slides that can assist you and your child with preparation for the EOG test.

3. Rest and Sleep Get your child into a regular sleep routine, and do your best to keep it. Most children need at least 9 to 10 hours of sleep each night. During sleep the brain takes a break and reorganizes input.

4. Breakfast Get your child into the habit of eating a nutritious breakfast every day. Breakfast can be a slice of toast and a piece of fruit. Your child’s body and brain needs the energy to get through the test.

5. Exercise Encourage your child to play outside, ride their bike, run around in the yard every day. Consistent physical movement increases oxygen to the brain which helps thinking and memory!
