2. The purpose of the Community Spirit Event is to unite the community and raise awareness of the local charities. The charity event will be held on the 19 th July. 3. My logo has a white background, it has the abbreviation ‘CS’. This stands for Community Spirit. Inside these letters are purple handprints, this represents community spirit and it shows community spirit is alive. My slogan (strapline) also represents Community Spirit. It says ‘There’s no such thing as too much love’. This means that the community should keep loving regardless of the races.

4. The charities that will attend my event are: I chose these charities because they are in Bedfordshire and I believe they are the best charities. As seen in the picture, each charity is being charged £100.00 each which leads to a £500.00 profit. Image directly sourced from Spreadsheet Model 1000 tickets are available for my event, I made my tickets proportional to everyone. For example 60% of tickets are available for adults and 40% are available for children. There is enough capacity for 1000 people at my event.

5. Food that will be available The food is suitable for both children and adults, as well as vegans and vegetarians. The food I am having varies from 3 different cultures which are, Indian, Chinese and Mexican. I will also be having snacks for sale. If no one prefers any drinks, they are welcome to purchase a bottle of water as well.

6. Freebies which will be given Image directly sourced from Spreadsheet Model I didn’t choose any freebies which were too expensive, this was to prevent me from making a loss. I will be having a total of 1200 freebies, 400 of each item. The freebies are going to be intended for the children, in order to attract more of them. Image directly sourced from Spreadsheet Model I did a similar thing with the freebies that I did with advertising, and that is keeping the costs low simply to reduce the risk of making a loss. Moreover I do not make any income from advertising and freebies. The advantage of these advertising methods are that they aren’t time consuming, Advertising at the event

7. Graphs and Charts Images directly sourced from Spreadsheet Model Fig 1 Fig 2 Fig 3 Fig 4 Fig 5 Figure 1 shows the income made from food, whereas figure 2 shows the cost incurred from food. The majority of my income comes from food, figure 3 and 4 show my total costs and income. From figure 3 we can see that the profit is 0.12% more than costs. Figure 5 shows my income from events, the highest source of income from events are trampolines.

8. Goal Seek I added the ‘Goal Seek’ formula in my model, so that it can total up columns automatically when numerical value in the cells are changed. This would make the spreadsheet easier to navigate whenever the values are changed. I put ‘Data Validation’ in my model because it allows you to see the options for food and drinks. The formula inserted has been put there so if a ‘item’ is changed, the price will change accordingly to the set value.

9. Suggestions for the event For the food I recommend the Asian 3 course meal. I believe this meal has the best value and quality. I also recommend getting popcorn and Kit Kat for snacks. Certain food and snacks are more expensive than other items because they are branded. For the drinks, I recommend for the children the fruit shoot and for the adults, Wild Cherry Pepsi. For the activities I recommend the bouncy castle, karaoke and bingo night. I believe these are the best activities for their value. The majority of my food have come from restaurants and the drinks come from cheap retailers.
