7. AdoSpy Automatic face recognition and identification at distances of up to 50 metres. AdoSpy is a system that performs automatic face recognition and identification. It operates at distances of up to 50 metres and covers areas of approximately 25 metres in width. The first camera – the supervision unit – scans for faces in its field of view and then instructs the second camera – the detail unit – to take high-resolution images of the faces detected using the motorized mirrors. While the detail camera captures high quality images of the faces detected, the supervision camera continues monitoring the general area under surveillance, scanning for further faces.
