It incorporates techniques and theories from many fields, including mathematics, probability models, statistics, data engineering, pattern recognition and learning, and data warehousing with the goal of extracting meaning from data. A practitioner of data science is called a data scientist. Information Technologist Information technology is "the study, design, development, application, implementation, support or management of computer- based information systems". The responsibilities of those working in the field include network administration, software development and installation, and the planning and management of an organization's technology life cycle, by which hardware and software is maintained, upgraded and replaced. A practitioner of Information technology is called a Information Technologist. Business Analyst A Business Analyst (BA) is someone who analyzes a real or hypothetical organization and design of systems, including businesses, departments, and organizations. BAs also assess business models and their integration with technology.
