3 CS-EE 481 3 Introduction Problem: Many bicyclist are not aware of how to efficiently shift gears when riding a bicycle Bicycle safety is an issue and deciding when to shift gears could be a distraction Solution: Automatically shift the gears of the bicycle Founder’s Day University of Portland School of Engineering
