2 FYP 2015 Individual projects OR group projects (max 2 members)
Span over 2 long trimesters Can be either Research based Application based

Available Projects starting from #342 FYP Guideline Student list Announcement from time to time

4 FYP Timeline Students need to secure a project by week 13 Trimester /16. Failing to do so will resulted in assignment of title to student without a project. Follow the add/drop week by the University, which is week2, Trimester /17 (Hard deadline)

5 Students assigned to lecturers
Meet the lecturer to discuss available projects offered by the lecturer. A new project can be proposed based on the discussion. Project still needs to be approved by the faculty before confirmation in the system.

6 Activities for FYP1 (June 2015)
Wk 1 : Register the subject (Project) in CAMSys Wk 12 (by Thursday 5pm): Submit reports Wk : Presentations need to see your supervisor every week, do keep the meeting log. should have a clear idea/plan for the whole project

7 Activities for FYP2 (Nov 2015)
Wk 1 : Need to register again the subject (Project) in CAMSys Wk 12 (by Thursday 5 pm): submit final report Wk : presentations

8 Attention All FYP Reports (including interim report) to be submitted individually – each student must have project subtitles Please ensure that the originality check is performed via Turnitin & the similarity < 20%

Introduction Literature Review Theoretical Framework Main concepts of the study Research Methodology Description of how the concepts will be demonstrated Prototype / Simulation Implementation to demonstrate the concepts Analysis of Results Conclusion

Weightage of 30 (FYP1):70 (FYP2) Include proof-of-concept assessment in FYP1.

FYP2 – poster presentation: Date: 24th Feb (Wednesday) & 25th Feb (Thursday) Time: 2 slots per day (9 – 12 noon & 2- 5p.m.) Venue: FCI Atrium Each slot can accommodate 62 booths/students Time Slots: Slot 1: noon Slot 2: 2-5p.m. Slot 3: 9-12 noon Slot 4: 2-5p.m.
