The SRTC shall foster the dissemination of new knowledge, further the professional development of those engaged in solid rocket propulsion activities, improve public understanding of the profession and its contributions, foster education in solid rocket propulsion engineering and science, promote communication among engineers and scientists and with other professional groups, and stimulate outstanding professional accomplishments. 11 Update On PEG Initiatives Conference Infrastructure Development - Cultivate superior P&E Forum leadership by active mentoring and succession planning Major Awards Nominations Committee – Group-level committee to develop quality nominations for P&E Technical Excellence awards TC Annual Report Requirement Revision – Refine the requirements for TC Annual Reports to allow greater flexibility in format TC Chair Knowledge Pack - Augment TC/PC chair manual & training class with P&E-specific knowledge, tempo, guidelines, POCs, etc. Membership Push - Implement a structured 2015 TC membership recruitment plan targeted at new members in critical areas The following five initiatives were introduced at the group meeting at the 2014 P&E Forum.
