6 Safety in the Healthcare Setting We will identify governing regulatory agencies and identify safety practices in all aspects of the health science industry. We will create a safety web with potential hazards and ways to avoid injury.

A hazard is any biological, chemical, mechanical, environmental or physical agent that is reasonably likely to cause harm or damage to humans, other organisms, or the environment in the absence of its control. With a neighbor partner come up with five common hazards healthcare workers face.
