ALICANTE Progress (1/2) 1 st year just finished, 2 years left WP2: Services and Architecture Definition and Specification  Finished (M08): Definition and specification phase finalized WP3: User Environment  Intermediate version of User Profile Modeling based on Markup Scheme Model (XML Schema) and existing standards (MPEG, UPnP), ongoing elaboration on ontology-based model.  Design and Implementation of a User Profile framework centrally managed by HB for multi-terminals/users/services  Implementation of QoS monitoring tools and QoE estimator and their integration into User Profile Management framework.
