12 Mentoring Program 5 stages: 1.- Welcoming and integration to the group 2.- Group organization and participation encouragement 3.- Coordination and follow-up of the student’s learning process 4.- Personalized tutoring, counseling and academic support 5.- Professional and academic counseling Tutors/mentors/counselors/coaches…???? General definition:

13 Mentoring Plan: Stage I : Welcoming and integration to the group Objectives  Promoting mutual understanding of group members  Provide students with clear and accurate information about what the supply and demand center  Facilitate knowledge of the operation of the center and the whole dynamics of the same  Awakening positive expectations among students towards the course and to the center  Avoid problems that may occur in the group as a result of poor integration and adaptation of students to the group and center. Activities  The first day of the course tutors will conduct a meeting with their group in which students will be provided with information about school calendar, schedule, classrooms, teachers, characteristics of the examination test and calendar, etc.  - All teachers will contribute with this action plan performing specific activities in their respective areas: presentation to students about the objectives and content of the Educational Plan, methodology, minimums required, etc.  - In the first two weeks of the course there will be specific activities aimed at facilitating mutual understanding among students and between them and the tutor and start building a united and cohesive group through different techniques.  - The students will receive information on the organization and operation of the center: organization, organ involvement and coordination of teaching, Project Center, etc.  - All teachers will collaborate in hosting the group of students interested in learning about each of them a short period of time.
