What is NASO…… National Astronomy & Science Olympiad is a platform that opens the door of limitless knowledge about the Astronomy and science explorations, for the students of Grade II to Grade X and to encourage talented young minds with amazing prizes who excel in the Olympiad in different programs including workshops, quizzes and many other informative & innovative sessions handled by eminent personalities in the field of space science, it’s much about inspiring the young aspirants to dream bigger and to channel their interests in space science into the right path where they really belong. Mission: “To bring awareness and Interest to Children Towards the Field of Astronomy & Science and make their way to choose their career towards it.” National Astronomy & Science Olympiad is one of the highly emerging concepts amongst young generation Olympiad. It is one of the unique and innovative platforms, and also serves an opportunity to the students by providing them the exposure to Science & Astronomy and a chance to visit NASA (Kennedy Space Center, Houston). It is scientifically designed and practically matured Exam which is divided into Two Rounds.

Why NASO…. The competition is not limited to the confined box of school curriculums. We move beyond the school curriculum, taking the participants to unexplored fields of knowledge, providing opportunities to meet legends of the field of space science, planetarium shows and much more. NASO is all about learning and gaining knowledge. NASO comes up with a concept called “ Explore NASA with NASO”. Where Children who stands first in competition gets an opportunity to go to “ Kennedy Space Station( Houston). Runners with get a Chance to Win Scientific Education Trip to Singapore. All Participants will be awarded with International Participation Certificates. Note: ISO 9000:2008 Organization.

MODE OF COMPETITION Eligibility: Level 1: School Round: Syllabus:
Students studying in Grades II to X following CBSE/ICSE/IGCSE/State Board. Syllabus: Relevant class syllabus. Subjects: Test of Science, Astronomy & Modern Science Pattern: Grade II to Grade IV (Science or Environmental Science with 50MCQ’s in 60 Min) Grade V to Grade X (Science or Astronomy with 50MCQ’s in 60 Min) Level 1: School Round: First Round is to Test Ground & Basic Knowledge of a child in field of Astronomy, This Round comprises of 50 multiple choice questions with One Hour Time limit. Participation certificates and Merit Certificates will be given to all Participated Students. Gold, Silver & Bronze medals will be given to merit students. Principal & coordinators will be rewarded with special rewards. Grade II to IV will be tested purely in Subject of Science and Grades V to X will be tested in Subject of Astronomy & Science. Level 2: National Round: This Level is to Test Their Research Knowledge, which consists of 20 Research and Theme based questions with One Hour Time limit. Toppers of this competition will be given announced prizes.

How To Apply NASO is organized only through the participating schools. The exam is conducted in the respective school of the participants during the school hours itself. The “NAVARS EDUTECH” will register the school and the students. Thereafter, the attendance sheet containing Roll Numbers of the students will be sent along with Question Papers and Guidelines for conducting the Examination. The schools are requested to send the details of the applicants in the prescribed Registration Form, Along with the Fees well before the last date to the NAVARS EDUTECH, /31, Second Floor, Road No 3, Indra nagar Colony, Nagarjuna Nagar, Hyderabad (Ph , ). Though not compulsory, the information asked for vide registration form may even be forwarded by mail at Registration form may even be downloaded from website. Last For Exam : October 30th. Exam Centre: Your school itself. Exam Fee: First Round 120/- per student. [INR 20 should be retained by school]
