25. Is Google Docs Going Away? Google "DOCS" has always been the name of one TOOL, but it was becoming associated with the whole suite. Kind of like Kleenex or Xerox. The name change is semantics. It simply aligns the name to the tool. Allows Google to brand DRIVE as the place to find things (more like your computer) Makes the transition to a desktop "drive" more familiar.
