Self-Sourcing
2
Self-Sourcing is defined as the ability to take care of ourselves and to “source our own needs from within.” This is contrary to our societal conditioning, which teaches us to look outward —to other people or things—for our love, happiness, and safety. Looking to others to meet our needs is not bad or wrong, however, it can foster dependence, which often leads to expectations, disappointment, and discontent. When we look toward the other to provide us our anchors of love, safety, and spiritual connection: we become reliant on them to source these for us. This breeds resentment, upset, emeshment, poor boundaries, and reliance on the other to “be fulfilled and okay” We can also look to other things to source these needs such as work, addiction, sex etc… The path to a healthier, more fulfilling, and sustainable way of relating is inward, where we learn how to connect to our higher power, our connection to the Earth, fill our own self-love “tanks” and to take good care of ourselves. What is Self-Sourcing? When I have _______, then I will be happy. When he/she ________, then I will be happy. When I have _______, then I will be happy. When he/she ________, then I will be happy.

Deciding to honor and love ourselves fully affords us the greatest opportunity to create a wonderful life for ourselves and to contribute to the well-being of others! When we embody our own unique connection to source, safety love, compassion for ourselves, we are said to be “self-sourced.” We are then able to give to others from a full and self- replenishing inner wellspring, rather than from scarcity and lack. Example of when we aren’t self-sourced: I feel unworthy of love so I look toward the other to provide me that love but it’s never enough. I continually look for evidence of how they don’t love me to reconfirm my core wound: I am unlovable. Example of when we are self-sourced: I love and honor the part of me that feels inadequate. I am enough. I am loved by creator. I fill myself up with this love and give from the overflow. I am love, I am loved. Why is Self-Sourcing important? Good questions to ask yourself : Where are you giving yourself away to the detriment of your truth, integrity, and self-care? Where do you sacrifice yourself for others? Do I trust that I will be safe and okay without another? How can I honor and love myself more fully? Connection to our own unique source What are the consequences when we don’t learn to source these needs our self? 1.We need others to meet our needs in order to be okay 2.Persistent worry, anxiety, depression. We use other things, or people to anchor into for our comfort and connection. 3.Lack of trust & faith: the world is a bad, and dangerous place to be feared. 4.Victim thinking (I feel abandoned, rejected, abused, taken advantage of, etc.): I am powerless to my circumstances. 5.Controlling others and your environment to be and feel safe. 6.Addictive behavior, vulnerable to substances to provide comfort, or medication. 7.Needing something outside yourself to give you security, stability, and a sense of ease. 8.Look to others for consistent approval, appreciation, love. 9.Persistent Shame and lack of love for self. 10.Step outside your personal integrity to make others happy or avoid conflict. Poor Boundaries. Trade sex, money or gifts in order to be loved. 11.Identify with a specific role ie.“provider” for self-worth. 12.Be what “I should be or do” to be accepted. Often, when we feel discomfort in our bodies, our default response is to deny, repress, and/or cover up the uncomfortable feelings with various addictions or distractions. It is important to notice the first sign of irritation or discomfort in your body and apply tools of self-care to take care of you! (yes you matter!) If you look at children they are constantly emoting and discharging energy. They are crying one moment and then happy the next. They are also fully alive and expressive in their bodies and beings! Many of us have lost this ability due to being shamed as children or adopting belief systems that helped us to conform (give away our authenticity) to be loved and accepted.) The more we learn to express ourselves and release our pain, fear, and stuck energy we create space to allow in what we do want: LOVE, JOY, CONNECTION, GRATITUDE, TRUST, ABUNDANCE, GRACE etc… Key: release whatever doesn’t serve from your body into the Earth or out into the atmosphere (creator) fill empty space with life affirming expansive vibration. LET’S RECLAIM OUR AUTHENTICITY! The Importance of Releasing & Discharging Uncomfortable Feelings & Energy

Be attuned to your uncomfortable emotions/sensations: name them, feel them, and allow them to express themselves through you. Shaking Yawning Belching/Burping Laughing Crying, getting angry- emotional processing Dancing Making Primal Sounds and Noises Meridian Tapping/Brushing Spending time in Nature Soaking, Cleansing and Purifying in Water (baths, hot-springs etc.) Exercise Conscious Venting Clearing and Rebalancing the Energy Centers in the body (chakras) Dis-ease first manifests in the energy body, then hits the emotional body and then if not cleared manifests in physical form. It is important that you make it a priority to release your discomfort to keep your body and being in optimum health. Methods of releasing energy

Toroidial Fields of Energy A torus consists of a central axis with a vortex at both ends and a surrounding coherent field. Energy flows in one vortex, through the central axis, out the other vortex, and then wraps around itself to return to the first incoming vortex. Plants and trees all display the same energy flow process, yet exhibit a wide variety of shapes and sizes. Hurricanes, tornadoes, magnetic fields around planets and stars, and whole galaxies themselves are all toroidal energy systems. Extending this observation of the consistent presence of this flow form into the quantum realm, we can postulate that atomic structures and systems are also made of the same dynamic form.
