1 CONNECTIONS PROJECT Connections: Embedding Regional Resourcing in the CRCNA

2 What’s this project all about? Purpose To create a model (or models) for resourcing congregations at the regional/classical level. Goal To resource congregations so they experience enhanced ministry. How will this happen? Regional Connections staff will help you explore and discover the best resources for your ministry, in your local context. Where does this fit in with everything else going on? It’ll be messy at first, but we’ll do our best to make things as smooth as possible.

4 How’s this all going to work? Inviting three regions (S. CA, Midwest, S. ON) to participate Wisconsin, Lake Superior, NC Iowa, Central Plains Regional team: three local leaders will provide resourcing and coaching Host annual regional gathering of congregational ministry teams to connect and explore ministry opportunities and challenges Can’t make an annual gathering? Call us whenever, we’re still here to help! Reconnect at next annual gathering to share Experiment, evaluate, adjust

5 What’s next? Present and invite congregations to participate (Feb/March) Begin to map and build collection of resources (Feb) Hire regional teams (March-May) Train regional teams (June) Plan first round of regional gatherings (June-August) Host regional gatherings (September-October)
