24 Field trips – Visit tour ships, the naval academy, Quantico, DC; staff rides Competitions – We train and compete with schools in the DC Metro area & VA Fundraisers – We need you to participate in these so we have some extra funds for various activities Inspections – This year is our inspection year! 26 Money - $25 Due by Thursday, 5 Sep 2013 (Battalion T-Shirt and One Name Tag) (MUST PURCHASE - black dress socks and white crewneck T-shirts for uniform) Paperwork Completed and Submitted by Thursday, 5 Sep 2013 Uniform Issue Will Begin the Week of 9 Sep 2013 Cadets are Required to Wear Their Uniform Once Per Week – on Wed or Thurs, whichever day they have JROTC class that week Cadets MUST adhere to the Uniform Guidelines JROTC INITIAL REQUIREMENTS 26

27 Mandatory Battalion Formation, Every Thur 7:00 – 7:25 AM Physical Training (PT) is conducted on Fridays – must wear athletic shoes, gym shorts, Battalion T- shirt, etc. appropriate attire please!! We have a designated Some of the Activities/Events will cost per Cadet; we will try to keep costs to a minimum We will conduct at least 3 Fundraisers this year; Maximum participation will help defray the cost of activities JROTC REQUIREMENTS (Cont’d) 27

28  An Adult Support Organization made up of Parents, Guardians, Supporters, etc. of the FPHS JROTC Program  Formalized in February 2013  Dedicate your time, resources, funding, etc. to the Cadet’s efforts to improve the community and further the Program  Meet monthly, or as needed  Direct Interaction with Cadets, Leaders and Cadre  Opportunities exist to schedule, plan and attend JROTC activities and events  Opportunity exist for leadership positions within Org 28 How Can You Help?
