4 With a partner, answer the following questions: 1.Based on the experiences highlighted in this video, what do both Ryan and Noah have in common? 2.What made Ryan more vulnerable and therefore more likely to get involved with someone online? 3.Though Ryan never agreed to meet, how do you think someone was able to find him? 4.What kinds of information should never be shared with people you first meet online? 5.It seems like Noah knew better than to communicate with someone he didn’t know online and then meet this person. Why do you think he did it anyway? 6.What should you do if someone you met online asks to meet you or in any way makes you feel uncomfortable? Discussion Questions

5 Remember that not everyone you meet online is trustworthy No one that you meet online should ask you to keep secrets from your trusted adults Be suspicious if an online “friend” tries to turn you against your friends and family Don’t accept gifts from people that you meet online Protect Yourself from Online Predators
