10 SECOND READING & RESPONSE PARAGRAPH (USING CHROMEBOOKS) In his commencement speech to the Stanford graduating class of 2005, Steve Jobs revealed three anecdotes that shaped his life. The first tale, about connecting the dots, concludes with Jobs’ advice to “trust in something—your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever” (Para. 9). Jobs trusted his own gut when it came to college—he dropped out but then dropped in on other courses that ultimately shaped not only his future, but also the future of computing.
