A word from Geoff You have put together a most interesting report, it is rare to see such a rigorous evaluation of strategy and so useful. I would be most grateful if you could keep me up to date with any further analysis. Geoff Petty 2012

A word from our ‘Observation’ Trainer I have been working as a consultant for Coleg Gwent since Autumn 2009. In that time I have been impressed by the college’s commitment to improve and the joined-up thinking evidenced in the way they use consultants and manage professional development. They are determined to improve teaching and learning and this message is clear right through the organisation from the Principal down. They have worked hard at approaches that are often not easy to accommodate to ensure that real and meaningful improvements are made and sustained. Considerable resources are put into making these improvements and time is taken to monitor, review and revise their strategies as appropriate. This clear focus enables the college to use consultants effectively. Angela Myers 2012
