6 Reading, Language Arts, and Social Studies Reading, Language Arts, and Social Studies are taught using the workshop approach. Students keep a journal of all of their learning and can refer back to these concepts when completing classroom assignments. They also reflect upon their learning in their journals. The journal will go home at the end of the school year.
