12. Senior Walk 10:15-10:55 All Seniors will report to the gym at 10:15am – Seniors with a 1st period – You must attend 1st period, your teacher will escort you down – Seniors with Late Arrival – Be in the gym by 10:15am At 10:30, we will walk the halls of IHS one last time

Senior Field Day Details 12:00-3:00 Teachers will be running each station – You will learn how to play the game fairly and correctly – You will learn the point system for each game – All scores will be reported electronically and on paper by teacher You can submit a group of no larger than 10 students – Mrs. Ginn will create 10 teams of 30 students – Each team will have a color assigned to it – We are trying to secure a sponsor to provide t-shirts – Mrs. Ginn will send electronic sign-up for groups – You must know each person’s first name, last name, and shirt size You will meet as a team on Wednesday, June 1, during Advisory Period

19. Senior Field Day Awards 3:00-3:30 Each member of the winning team will win a prize. Each member of the winning team will have the opportunity to play for a grand prize.

What can I wear on Senior Day? – T-Shirt (Your Senior shirt, an IHS shirt OR if we have been able to secure field day shirts you will wear those) – Nike Shorts are allowed as long as they can be seen under your shirt – Tennis shoes – Hats, sunglasses, sunscreen – Anything to support your team (body paint, colored socks, hair bows, etc) Your questions?

23. Mandatory Graduation Practice When: Thursday June 2 Location: IHS Auxiliary Gym Time: 3:45 – 6:00 (After Senior Field Day) Note: If you miss graduation practice, you will not be allowed to participate in the graduation ceremony with your classmates.

24. IHS Graduation June 3, 2016 @ 8:00 p.m. Students will report to the gym the day of graduation at 5:15PM We will go over any last minute details and answer any questions. We will all load the bus for the Dr. Pepper Center It will last no more than 75 minutes. After graduation, a bus will be provided back to Independence if you choose that option.

Important Graduation Planning Information Formal Attire for All (No jeans) Dresses Must be Shorter than Gown Dark Brown or Black Dress Shoes (No Light Colored Shoes will be Allowed) Collared Shirts for the Men No Nose Rings Cannot Draw on Graduation Cap Please remember this is a very formal ceremony.
