6 e-Safety - Lesson 4 6 Task 1 - Personal Information Fill out your Personal Information worksheets as we look at the ways to protect your personal information online.

7 e-Safety - Lesson 4 7 Personal Information Keep personal information private, do not give out: Your home address; Your mobile or home phone number; Your email address; Your school details; Details of any clubs you attend; Photographs.

8 e-Safety - Lesson 4 8 Privacy Settings To help keep personal information private, turn on privacy controls so that only friends can see your posts.

9 e-Safety - Lesson 4 9 Photos Think before you post any photos. Once a photo is online you can never get it back. Someone may have downloaded the image. Do not post images that: Are inappropriate; Show you in your school uniform or show your school; Give away your location.

10 e-Safety - Lesson 4 10 Contact Details Do not post your mobile or contact details; True friends will ask you for this in person; You cannot trust who people are online. Think!!!

11 e-Safety - Lesson 4 11 Friends/Buddies/Contacts Only add people you know in real life as a friend or buddy; Do not add people you do not know, as they may not be who they say they are; Block and remove people you do not know from your friends lists.

12 e-Safety - Lesson 4 12 Task 2 – e-safety questionnaire You need to design a questionnaire to check if someone's profile is safe. Think about e-safety when you write your questions. The point of the questionnaire is to test how safe someone is online. You only need to design the questionnaire and not answer it.

13 e-Safety - Lesson 4 13 Plenary Ask one of your class mates sitting next to you to answer your questionnaire. How e-safe are they? Do they need to improve their e-safety, if so how?
