3 Established in 2004, the Acsenda School of Management is a private post-secondary institution located in downtown Vancouver offering undergraduate degrees and post- graduate diplomas. Acsenda’s 200 students come from Canada and 20 other countries. International students at Acsenda are eligible to work up to 20 hours per week off campus. International students who graduate from an Acsenda Bachelor degree are eligible to apply for a post-graduation work permit for up to 3- years. 4 The English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program is for students who want to study at Acsenda but do not yet meet the English proficiency requirements. EAP Level 3 Length: 12 weeks (Three, 3.5 hour classes per week) Entry requirement : 5.5 IELTS with no band lower than 5.0 Cost: $4,110 CAD + books and term fees EAP Level 4 Length: 12 weeks (Four, 3.5 hour classes per week) Entry requirement : 6.0 IELTS with no band lower than 5.5 or completion of EAP Level 3 Cost: $4,110 CAD + books and term fees Students have the option of completing 1 academic course while completing EAP level 3 and a maximum of 2 academic courses while completing EAP level 4 English for Academic Purposes

5 The Acsenda BBA degree program is designed to prepare students fully for careers in today’s complex global organizations. The emphasis is on combining theory with practical applications. Concentrations: Marketing Management, Human Resources Management, General Business Management, Accounting, International Business Management (IBM) High School Graduate - 40 (3 Credit) Courses 1 st Degree Holder Accounting - 33 Courses International Business Management - 27 Courses General Business Management- 26 Courses Human Resources Management- 25 Courses Marketing Management- 25 Courses Education Credential Evaluators (www.ECE.org) Students can request Acsenda to submit a request for evaluation from ECE. If the student registers for courses the evaluation fee will be reduced to $50 CAD Bachelor of Business Administration

6 The BHM program integrates business courses from Acsenda’s BBA program with specialized courses in hospitality to prepare graduates for management careers in the industry. The BHM is a direct entry, 123 credit 4-year degree program with an 6-month paid international internship. ✓ 37 (3 credit) courses ✓ 1 (6 credit) Capstone course ✓ 6- month paid internship (6 credits) Students who meet Acsenda’s admission requirements and have completed a 1 st degree equivalent to a 4-year North American degree will receive 12 transferred courses (36 credits). Degrees must be verified by ECE or WES. Bachelor of Hospitality Management (BHM)

7 Advanced Diploma in Business Administration (ADBA) 2 year, 20 (3 credit) course program designed specifically for students who want an Academic Level Business Education, but who also want to keep their future options open. The ADBA program is a 2 year business diploma that ladders into Acsenda’s 3rd year of the Bachelor of Business Administration degree. The Post Graduate Certificate and Diploma programs are for students who would like to have a comprehensive exploration of the business issues of management. They are for students who have completed a 3-year degree or a 4-year degree in an area other than business. Tuition and Fees in this chart reflect the minimum number of transfer credits from a first degree. Students are required to make payments by term/semester. Cost per term is approximately $5,000 – $6,500 depending on the number of courses registered for.

11 Entrance Requirements An applicant must at least be a high school graduate with a GPA of 2.0 or greater. Applicants over the age of 25 with no high school graduation can be considered for admission under the mature student category. 12 The Application Process 1.Completed and signed application form to Admissions @Ascenda.com Admissions @Ascenda.com 2.Passport photocopy 3.Photocopy of post-secondary transcripts and certificates If less than 18 credits have been completed from post- secondary then high school transcripts and diploma are required English translation required Official transcripts are posted to Acsenda in a sealed envelope from the applicant’s previous institution before the time of course registration. 4.Proof of English Proficiency IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge, MELAB, PET and Acsenda’s English Placement Test are accepted If no English proficiency is provided, a condition will be stated in the students Offer and Acceptance Letter 5.Payment of $150 CAD non refundable application fee Credit cards, cheques, cash, or bank transfers accepted Following assessment, an Offer Letter and invoice is issued

13 Tuition Deposit Acsenda’s tuition deposit is equivalent to 4 academic courses ($5,996 CAD) When the deposit has been received and the applicant meets the admission requirements, a Letter of Acceptance will be issued by the registrar. In the event that the application for a study permit is denied, a full refund less the $150 non-refundable application fee and a $200 administrative fee will be provided. Students will be required to provide proof of their study permit rejection Refunds are paid back to the original payee Refunds for payments made by credit card incur a 2% surcharge If a student is awarded a study permit the tuition deposit becomes non refundable and can only be used towards study at Acsenda. 14 Applicants are encourage to apply for entrance awards that range from $1,000 - $5,000 per student. The following documents are required: An official transcript or a copy of an official transcript An up to date Curriculum Vitae including all education, work and volunteer experience. A Letter of Application explaining why you should receive an award and what you can contribute as a student at Acsenda School of Management. A letter of reference from a former teacher or supervisor (employer) to support the reasons why you are applying for a reward.
