4. A reading from the first letter of Paul to the Corinthians
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. I give thanks to my God always for you because of the grace of God that has been given you in Christ Jesus, for in every way you have been enriched in him, in speech and knowledge of every kind just as the testimony of Christ has been strengthened among you so that you are not lacking in any spiritual gift as you wait for the revealing of our Lord Jesus Christ. He will also strengthen you to the end, so that you may be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. 5. A reading from the Gospel of Luke
ALL: Glory to you O Lord
Now all students make the Sign of the Cross with your thumb on your forehead, so the word of God is in your mind, on your lips so that we might speak the word of God and over our heart to strengthen our love of God and others.

6. On the way to Jerusalem Jesus was going through the region between Samaria and Galilee. As he entered a village, ten lepers approached him. Keeping their distance, they called out, saying, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!” When he saw them, he said to them, “Go and show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were made clean. Then one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice. He prostrated himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him. And he was a Samaritan. Then Jesus asked, “Were not ten made clean? But the other nine, where are they? Was none of them found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?” Then he said to him, “Get up and go on your way; your faith has made you well.”

The idea for this part of the presentation would be that the kids would create a poster of what they are thankful for, I am thankful for …, they would hold it up and you would take a picture of them holding it. These pictures would then be uploaded to a slide show (animoto, google slides, ppt, iMovie, whatever you prefer) and music would be added to the background. This can be excluded, however, if you want to try this and need assistance, contact Laura Tapson.
