3 How can we learn from the beliefs or cultures of others? Can you use some of the ideas and not all of them? When should you be open to trying something different? What is the value of experiencing something completely new?

4 The Eightfold Path or The Middle Way Read the article about the Four Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path. 1.Consider each example and identify part of the Eightfold Path that it matches. 2.Identify a time when you may have followed a part of the Eightfold path.

5 Right Understanding Man must have the correct understanding of the world, not just how you want it to be. Jeremy’s Story

6 Right Thought People must have good motives and attitude because it leads to good actions. You should commit to developing the right attitudes, including kind thoughts, giving up things and not being greedy. Yul’s Story

10 Right Effort You must WANT to make yourself better. Do your best to break bad habits. Use your time and energy for positive things. Work hard to do the right things. Sophie’s Story
