Rodger Wilson Leadership Conference returned to the college campus  Host of the 81 st Grand Chapter Meeting (Houston) and the 82 nd Grand Chapter Meeting (New Orleans)  Majority of chapters with IRS Tax Issues have been addressed & corrected  Improved online Chapter Certification process  The Southwestern Province is the home of Kappa Kamp and is currently housed in its third year on the campus of Paul Quinn College  Southwestern Province accounted for more than fifty (50% ) percent of the Kappa Kampers for 2014  Southwestern is the only Province with quarterly Healthy Kappas, Healthy Communities Initiative Newsletter to expand on mental health, blood pressure, hazing & psychopathology, diabetic education, cardiac disease

Southwestern Province GUIDE RIGHT I.Kappa Alpha Psi continues to lead in Black Male Achievement Initiatives II.The Southwestern Province set a Guide Right standard by being the only Province to implement Guide Right Certification. This resulted in 27 Chapters being certified and 54 Brothers completing Child Safety Training. The Guide Right Certification process ensures child safety compliance and will be instituted throughout Kappa Alpha Psi next year III.Southwestern Province has strong Guide Right programs that not only include Kappa League programs, but creative programs such as the San Antonio First Responders program, the Bossier City Consortium that partners with other organizations, Lambda Kappa’s peewee basketball and Mansfield Cedar Hill MMA Fitness program

Kappa Kamp is conceived as a summer enrichment camp providing students, ages 12-16, with the opportunity to acquire productive life-skills through intensive workshops and learning through structured play activities.148 Students attended Kappa Kamp at Paul Quinn College in 2014 II. The program operated from June 15-27, 2014 with 148 Kampers from 22 states. Over 65% from the Southwestern Province traveled to Dallas, Texas at Paul Quinn College to learn about Business Plans, College Business, STEM and Sports Kappa Kamp Accomplishment
