69 Student Email Old email format New email format
e.g.: Joe Student (Password: New format (Password: Lastnamemm/dd/yy) Self Serve Password Reset Expected Completion September 2014 Student For several months now the Directors of IT at the campuses and the district have been working with the Pedro Avila and other staff at the campuses to come up with an acceptable solution to the issue of having a student ID as a portion of the student address. After consulting with Legal Counsel, IT colleagues through the CISO listserv, and the ASG at each of the campuses it has been decided that the student address will change as shown here. The new format will be the first initial of the first name, plus the last name (no spaces or hypens), and a four digit sequence number. Even if the student has a unique name they will still have the sequence number. Their initial password will also now be unique. The format will be Lastname, plus the 6 digit birthdate – with the first letter of the lastname capitalized. We will not be eliminating the original address from Office 365 but instead an alias will be created with the new format and added to Office The primary address that displays in Ellucian for the students will be the new format. This also means that we will be updating the address in Blackboard to this new format. I want to reiterate that the current format will continue to work, it will just not be the one displayed in our systems. As part of the project we will also be initiating a Self Serve password reset function for the students. The system will allow them to reset their passwords by sending a password reset link to an alternate , or text them a code to use for the reset.

70 Office 365 for Faculty Username: (not case sensitive) Password: Lastname+employeeID (no spaces, capitalize the first initial of the Lastname, and remember your ID is seven digits long) Username: Password: Faculty I was asked by several faculty about gaining access to the Office 365 environment so that they could see what the students did and perhaps start using the OneDrive service to share files with their students. So at the end of last semester I loaded all of the faculty into Office 365. Your format is and your password is your lastname and your seven digit employee ID (capitalize the first letter). Please remember that this does not replace your current You can access Office 365 at mail.office365.com
