3 COMMUNITY APPRENTICESHIP SCHEME Provides supply chain companies with additional funding to enable them to take on Apprentices for the first time, or additional apprentices. (Funding contribution of £2500 to £5000 per year per Apprentice.) Can be used on Apprenticeship frameworks which deliver skills for the Nuclear Industry Apprenticeships delivered by Skills Academy Quality Assured Providers. Helps Employers to build their resource capability for the future. 38 appointed to date

8 AWARD IN NUCLEAR INDUSTRY AWARENESS Provides people new to the sector with an understanding of the nuclear industry. Level 2 nationally recognised qualification. Provides a comprehensive and consistent introduction into a growing industry sector. Can easily be delivered as part of an Apprenticeship or Graduate Induction programme. The Award can be delivered company or industry wide to an audience from vastly different backgrounds.
