Mouth Game  Give each child a “mouth” and “teeth”. Each child will take a turn rolling the dice. The number that they rolled is the number of teeth that they get to add to there mouth.

Washing Machine Game  The children will take turns matching the socks together, when they get a match they get to put them in the washing machine. On the back of the socks are numbers that the children need to match together.

Where Do They Go?  Each child will have a game board along with a bunch of pieces. They will have one minute to put as many pieces as they possibly can in the correct spaces. The objects on the pieces won’t look the same as the objects on the pieces so the children will need to classify where they go.

Color Sort  Put the children into several groups. Give each group color tubes and pom-poms. Tell the children when you say go they need to sort through the pom-poms and put them in the right color tube.

Scavenger Hunt  The children will be split into groups. They will then get one work sheet per group and a ruler. They have to find objects around the room that match the lengths on the worksheet. Once they’ve found something for all the lengths, they need to put the objects in order from largest to smallest.

Order Those Clothes  I will collect lots of different sized shoes and put them on the circle time rug. I will then tell the children that they need to order them from smallest to largest. They need to work together as a group.

I Have, Who Has?  The children will sit in a circle (divide the cards amongst the children evenly) have the children say the color and shape of there top shape, next have them describe there bottom shape and the children who has that shape in that color.

Game Board  Give each child a game board and a marker. Have each child roll the dice at least one time, as the children roll have them say the number out loud. The children need to find the number on there paper and draw a circle around it, whoever fills all of there numbers with circles first, wins. All game boards are different.
