3 >>FACULTY OF TECHNOLOGY AND BUILT ENVIRONMENT Open programme in MSP in Gantt chart view Tab Task - go to Gantt chart view and select network diagram Tab Format – select box styles Click more templates Goes to Data templates Select new Goes to data Template Definitions Name template in top cell Go down to choose cell and click in already selected black cell 3 DEPARTMENT OF CONSTRUCTION Lets get started- getting to node template

4 >>FACULTY OF TECHNOLOGY AND BUILT ENVIRONMENT Write these titles into template cells and click green tick. 4 DEPARTMENT OF CONSTRUCTION Compiling your template Click OK

5 >>FACULTY OF TECHNOLOGY AND BUILT ENVIRONMENT In Box styles –note where your template is now located it should be under Summary, If it is click OK. Go back to your opened network diagram Select all nodes you wish to format by clicking and dragging a selection net around them. Go to - Tab format- Box styles, select your template under summary and click OK. Your network diagram nodes should now be formatted correctly. 5 DEPARTMENT OF CONSTRUCTION Format network using your template

6 >>FACULTY OF TECHNOLOGY AND BUILT ENVIRONMENT Sometimes nodes do not format at first go- if you experience problems with applying format to nodes, try again it may take a couple of goes. Good luck, any problems email me as this is not in “Microsoft’s tutorials” or “Help” on line and we are still developing this process ourselves.
