Stacey looked timidly at the audience before her. She wondered what they thought as she stood before them in her sister’s borrowed dress. As she opened her mouth, Stacey held tightly to the sides of the podium. There was no turning back. She would have to go forward with her speech and concede her run for class president.

5. Identifying the third person limited point of view
a clearly written chapter will only have one point of view
some books may change the POV in each chapter
look for pronouns like he, she, hers, his, their, they
