1. Veterans Day is an annual American holiday honoring military veterans! Veterans Day is observed usually on November 11 th or However, if it occurs on a Sunday then the following Monday is designated for holiday leave, and if it occurs Saturday then either Saturday or Friday may be so designated.

2. Veteran’s day is both a federal holiday and a state holiday in all states.

3. Veteran's day means to celebrate people that have served our country. I have 2 uncle’s, and a grandpa that have served our country and I have a steph-brother that is leaving November 12 to serve our country. My uncle’s is in Iraq now serving. We celebrate Veteran's day by having cookouts and going to parade’s.

4. Some with parades, some with a memorial at a War memorial site, some at the VFW, others visit their local cemetery, and some have cookouts.

6. Armistice Day is a another name for Veteran’s day!

8. Everybody should hope that nobody gets hurt or die in Iraq like the people below!
