2. What is written Assessment??? Written assessments include a broad range of assessments in which students show their understanding with paper and pencil. Written assessment can include essays, assignments, reports, dissertations, diaries, portfolios and workbooks. It may take place as course work or in an examination. EDN-102 2

Disadvantages ♣Students are judged by their performance on a particular day. ♣Misinterpretation of the question can lead to disastrous results for the students. ♣Students can simply memorize pre-prepared answers and reproduce them in the exam. ♣Students will only focus on the material to be examined and put other important material from their mind. ♣There is a possibility of plagiarism.
