7. Bit The unit of information. The bit is important.

8. Cursor A visually distinct mark on a display indicating where newly typed text will be inserted. The cursor is used a lot on a computer.

9. Search Engine A computer program that searches documents. I use a Google search engine.

10. Highlight To emphasize or make prominent. I highlight important information.

11. Port A logical channel or channel endpoint in a communications system. A computer has a port.

12. crash when the computer has a viruses and doesn't work anymore. Your computer can crash if you click on pop ups.

13. Font The different ways you can make your lettering on a computer. I like to type in times new roman

14. download to transfer software, data, character sets, etc. from a distant to a nearby computer. I download lots of music.

15. Scroll To move up and down with the mouse. I scroll through the page to find the answer.
