Place a paper and pencil in front of each chair Put assorted peeled crayons in a basket at each table Place texture sheets at each table Docent Setup List: Docent Clean up List: ●Make sure names are on back of art ●Place completed paintings in storage area ●Wipe down tables, sharpen pencils, refill any items if needed and return to where you found them-Thanks for doing this and leading the lesson! Today’s Lesson Today we are going to use plastic texture sheets and peeled crayons to create a picture Skill Development: Art@Booksin To introduce students to the concept of texture, and how it can be a three- dimensional or two- dimensional principal of Art To give students the opportunity to use a new material in the Art room (texture sheets)

Let’s get started.. Supplies Needed: Paper Pencil Peeled Crayons Texture Sheets Art@Booksin

1.Write our name on the back of our paper 1.Take a pencil a divide your paper into different sections 1.Outline pencil lines in crayon 1.Pick a texture sheet and peeled crayon 1.Put the texture sheet in the section you want it in on your paper 6. Place paper above the texture sheet and use peeled crayon to color on your paper 7. Pick a different color crayon and texture sheet and repeat steps Art@Booksin
