4. My life… I am a very busy mom of two, constantly on the go. My kids are involved in several extra curricular activities that keep me on my toes. My son Jeremy is eleven years old and my daughter Jade is 9 going on 19. I am a 5 th grade Reading, Language Arts, and Social Studies teacher. I have taught Kindergarten through 5 th grade during my teaching career. I am currently a masters student, earning my degree in Educational Curriculum and Technology.

6. Code of Ethics As an educator, we have a dual role as public servants. Because of this, we are bound by a certain code of ethics. This will enable educators to create an environment of integrity and honesty and will assist in the common goal of providing a safe environment for our students. All educators in the state of Florida are to value the worth and dignity of every person and provide equal learning opportunities. The educators primary professional concern will always be for the student and the development of the student’s potential. Educators must strive for professional growth and always practice their best professional judgment in all matters of integrity.
