Radio vs. podcast Many people think of podcasts as “internet radio” programs. While this is pretty accurate there are a number of things that make them different. 1. Podcasts are not streamed (listened to) live. 2. Because it is not live people can choose when they want to listen to a podcast and listen to the whole thing rather than coming in the middle of a show like you would on the radio.

Types of Podcasts
8
Solo A solo podcast is presented as a monologue – one person talking into a mic or camera.
9
interview An interview can add interest to your podcast because it adds a second voice and allows you to get another point of view on a particular topic.
10
Multi-host Has two or more hosts and allows for a more conversational type of show. There is always more than one point of view.
11
Video This type is sometimes called a vidcast. Not only does this type have audio, but also visuals. This adds a lot of interest to the show.
