2. Why is it important to have a variety of living things in the Bay? It is important to have a variety of living things in the bay. Oysters help keep the bay clean because they eat algae. The zooplankton they help by let other animals eat. Widgeon grass is important because it helps the geese eat. My research will show that the bay creatures are important.
