2 Why is it important to have a variety of living things in the Bay? It is important to have a variety of living things in the bay. Oysters help keep the bay clean because they eat algae. The zooplankton they help by let other animals eat. Widgeon grass is important because it helps the geese eat. My research will show that the bay creatures are important.

3 oysters The oysters are important because they help keep the bay clean. They eat our algae. They eat little plankton. They also eat bacteria.1

4 zooplankton Zooplankton help eat all the algae off the rocks. They eat the small larva that are pests. When they get bigger the fish eat them.

5 conclusion In conclusion I learned how Chesapeake bay animals help the earth and living things help the earth. And animals eat widgeon grass to stay alive. And they help produce new animals.
