Las Cienegas NCA Resource Management Plan Resource Management Plan - The Las Cienegas NCA RMP is a plan to manage 45,000 acres of public land in southeastern Pima County and northeastern Santa Cruz County under the principles of multiple-use and ecosystem management. This land represents a priceless legacy and long-term investment for the American people. Vision – The RMP aims to conserve, protect, and enhance the unique and nationally important aquatic, wildlife, vegetative, archaeological, paleontological, scientific, cave, cultural historical, recreational, educational, scenic, rangeland and riparian resources and values of the publics lands within the NCA, while allowing livestock grazing and recreation to continue in appropriate areas.

Workloads in the RMP Natural Resources Cultural/Heritage Resources Energy & Minerals Recreation Forest & Forage Direct Community Service The Federal Land Policy and Management Act (FLPMA) guides the management of all public lands, and FLPMA provided for a multiple use of public lands.
