1. Oregon SEC Resources The Oregon SEC Collaborative is a partnership between the OAESD Instructional Leadership Council and the Oregon Department of Education

Oregon SEC Partnership In Oregon ESDs (Education Service Districts) provide support to districts in a wide variety of areas For SEC they are the “guides” for district survey administrators The bulk of the resources developed for the website were created by the members of the ESDs on the Oregon SEC Task Force ODE maintains the site and works in a support capacity for the ESDs

About the web site Task force members developed resources as they worked with initial districts Determined that developing a series of resources that could be used by any district engaging in SEC might be helpful Not quite “do-it-yourself” SEC, but wanted all the support materials easily accessible for survey administrators

About the web site Began with a best practices “implementation guide”, included links to the resources for each phase of SEC“implementation guide”, Web site grew out of this document, organized around 101A, 101B, 201 and 301 Each page has a brief narrative describing that “phase” of SEC and a variety of resources http://www.ode.state.or.us/go/sec

5. Web site highlights Tools for survey administrators including – 10 – 20 minute videos (including facilitator guides) for each phase of SEC that can be used as part of the PD process – PowerPoint presentations – Sample timeline – Planning guides
