5. REVIEWS: ITEMS TO THINK ABOUT… Planned objectives: Are all Seven Turnaround Principles addressed? Does the goal align to the indicator? Are the goal narratives written as S.M.A.R.T. goals? What is the quality of the goal? What are the expected outcomes of implementing this goal? What resources will you need to implement? What types of evidence will be needed to Are the tasks specific, sufficient, and realistic? Are the target completion dates sufficient and realistic? Are the tasks distributed to a variety of leadership team members? Fully implemented indicators Does the evidence provided support that the team has the indicator Fully implemented?; Effectively implemented? Is the description of continued work necessary supportive of the efforts needed to sustain implementation?

6. SMART GOALS FORMAT S.M.A.R.T. goals/objectives articulate both the evidence supporting the strategy and measurable outcomes for students and educators. The acronym “S.M.A.R.T.” is used to describe goals/objectives that are:  Specific,  Measurable,  Actionable/Attainable,  Realistic/Results-oriented, and  Timely/Time-bound
